At Sunbuilt Retrievers, we don’t just breed dogs. We raise future heroes, companions, and teammates. Our passion is raising purpose-bred Golden and (soon) Labrador Retrievers who are well-prepared for roles as service dogs, therapy dogs, or performance dogs, and most importantly, for life as beloved family members. ​

We produce well-bred, well-adjusted puppies through thoughtful breeding and intentional puppy-raising methods inspired by Puppy Culture and Avidog curricula. As experienced, Certified Professional Dog Trainers, we provide each puppy daily opportunities to build confidence, resilience, curiosity, and a strong foundation for lifelong learning. By nurturing both physical and emotional well-being from the very beginning, we help prepare puppies to form deep and lasting bonds with their new families.

With every generation, we strive to preserve the qualities that make these breeds so deeply loved: friendly, stable, and biddable temperaments; sound, powerful structure; and the natural versatility to thrive as devoted companions and capable working dogs.

 Simply put, our dogs are our life. We live with them, train with them, compete with them, celebrate their birthdays, and stay connected with the families who love the puppies we raise. We put our whole hearts into giving every Sunbuilt puppy the best possible start. Nothing brings us greater joy than seeing our puppies thrive and live their very best lives with the families who love them.
